Our founder, Erdinç Mert, was born in Istanbul in 1981. After completing his undergraduate studies in Mechatronics Engineering at Sabancı University on a scholarship, he completed his master's degree in Industrial Engineering at Bilkent University.
After his postgraduate education, he started working as a business development engineer at Aselsan. Erdinç Mert, who worked at Aselsan for more than 10 years, took on managerial roles in many major defense industry projects. In his last period at Aselsan, he was appointed as the Business Development Manager responsible for the Asia Pacific region, and during his term, he exported to many countries in his region.
After his Aselsan journey, Erdinç Mert turned to management consulting, and in 2017, he joined the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company as an expert consultant. He has provided management consulting to top executives at the minister and CEO level in nearly 10 projects. In projects, he mostly focused on strategy, cost transformation, business development, and organization areas, helping companies and public institutions make millions of liras.
In 2019, Erdinç Mert was appointed as Deputy General Manager responsible for Strategy and Market Development at BİTES Defence, a subsidiary of Aselsan, and during his tenure, he managed the company's business development activities, corporate communication, and all marketing activities.
In 2020, Erdinç Mert decided to establish his own management consulting company, founded BeNova Consulting, and currently serves as the General Manager of the company. BeNova Consulting, which provides consulting and training services in many areas, continues to deliver results-oriented service with a holistic view, with its qualified staff and the best solution partners.
